Addison's Birthday

I am a little behind on my blogging. I have been so busy with work and I am now having to take another test for work and there is just not enough time during the day to do everything. Here are a few pictures from Addison's party. We had it at the Littly Gym. She takes gymnastics there and she loves it. It was the best and easiest party for a parent. They do absolutely everything. You just have to bring the kids.

Christmas

We finally had Christmas at our house this year. I was so excited. We are usually in San Antonio or Center Point, Texas at Christmas time. My mother in law, father in law, sister in law and brother in law all came in to celebrate the holidays with us this year. So while Addison and I were waiting for everyone on Christmas Eve, we had a pizza picnic and it was so much fun. The age that she is at right now is so much fun and she is such a sweet girl. So, I think the family bought out Toys R Us because I have it all in my house and no where to put it. Here are a few pictures of the holidays. On a side note, I got the most precious gift this Christmas. My husband's aunt dables in photography and she had taken the sweetest black and white photo of my baby girl and my sister in law had it blown up and framed and gave it to me and I could not have asked for a better gift.

Gingerbread House

Addison is almost two, so I thought it would be a good idea to let her decorate a gingerbread house this year. Mimi (my mom) bought her a Wilton house that was already constructed and all we had to do was mix the icing and decorate the house with the rock hard candy that was included in the kit. All I can say is lesson learned. We mixed the icing and put on the candies, but the icing tasted gross and the candies were not edible by any stretch of the imagination. Next year, I will make the house or the cookies and buy the candy fresh. Addison was trying eat the candy that came with the house the entire time and I was afraid she was going to break a tooth. However, it was a fun experience and here a few pictures to share.

Snow Day

I have lived in Texas my entire life and it has snowed a total of 4 times in the town that I live in. I remember the first time that it snowed, I was 7 years old and I still have the picture so of course, I had to take pictures of Addison in the snow for the first time.

Halloween 2009

We went to my aunt's house again this year for trick or treating. We just don't have a lot of kids in our neighborhood so we go hang out with my family and sit in the driveway, eat lots of food and hand out candy to the over abundance of children in my aunt's neighborhood. Here are a few pictures of Little Red Riding Hood and a few with her friends Abigail and my God Son Brayden.

Calling All Moms

I am calling all moms for some advice. All of a sudden my daughter has decided to become a picky eater. I will make meals for her that I have made before that she has eaten only to find out she is not going to eat it this time around. I am hoping moms will share some meal and snack ideas with me for toddlers. It is so hard to think and figure out new meals. I am getting deparate. Please help.

I'm Back

So I didn't do so well with the blogging this summer. I think it has something to do with actually having the time to upload all of the pictures that I take to the computer. I don't know but I will try to do better. I promise. A lot has changed since the last post. First of all, Addison no long has a pacifier. Yeah!!!! She is talking so much now. I am teaching her colors, please, thank you, and last but not least, she is potty training. I just don't know what I am going to do with all the money I am going to save on diapers. I can hardly contain my excitement. Here are a few pictures from the summer. I forgot to mention that my husband is an avid golfer and bought Addison her very first set of clubs over the summer. We also took gymnastics again this summer at the Little Gym. Here are some pictures of Addison walking on the balance beam. I nearly had a mild heart attack when she let go of the handle bars but I recovered. She is such a little dare devil.
