These boots were made for walking.

Okay, so Addison's grandpa bought her first pair of cowgirl boots for her first birthday. We've tried them on her a few times because we were waiting for them to fit. Now that they fit, she wants to walk around the house in them. She sees the box and knows that is the box that keeps her boots. They are super cute boots and I could not get over the fact that she was wearing them with capris the other night. She must have walked around in those boots for an hour. Her grandpa is going to be so proud.

What Toys?

Why does is seem that you, your family, and your friends spend an obscene amount of money on toys? And all your child wants to play with is the card board box that her new potty chair came in. Never mind the 10 different items around the house that make noise, sing and help her learn. She prefers the boxes that things come in and the bags that we get presents in.

Too Fast

I have realized that Addison is growing up way too fast. I do not know if it because I am home with her now or because Chris and I decided that she is going to be our only one, but I have all of a sudden taken notice. She amazes me every day. She says words that are clear and her vocabulary is growing every day. She no longer sits in a high chair to eat, she has a big girl table now. She also feeds herself with a fork and she is rather neat about it. I am kind of crazy when it comes to her feeding herself. My mom and aunt will tell you when we go out, I will go out of my way to make sure that she stays clean at all times. I know as a mom that won't happen because children seem to gravitate towards dirt, but I am trying to let go a little. Here is a picture of Addison at the big girl table feeding herself. Did I fail to mention that she loves Chick-fil-a almost as much as her mom does.

Summer Time

I am finally done with school. I decided to move down to Kindergarten next year, so I had to pack up my old room and make the move and you just don't realize how much stuff you have until you have to move it some where else. I hope to post at least twice a week during the summer now that I have the time.

Shoe Obsession

I took this video of Addison because anytime that she sees my shoes, she puts them on. I was mesmerized by the fact that she was able to keep them on for so long. It is hard not to laugh while she trots around the living room.
